Cornerstone Church has ministries for everyone. No matter where you are in your spiritual journey, we care about your growth as a maturing disciple and have a plan in place for you to succeed.
Cornerstone Men’s Ministry exists to raise up Godly men who can lead their families, their communities, and impact our culture. We are committed to pursuing God and His character through authentic relationships, accountability, and servant-leadership.
The Cornerstone Men gather through small groups, quarterly breakfast, biannual dessert camp outs, and have a retreat once a year in the fall.
Cornerstone Women’s Ministry provides an opportunity for women of every stage of life to connect with other women in the church and with Jesus Christ. Our events are designed to create an atmosphere for you to deepen your relationship with the Lord through worship, teaching, discussion time, and prayer. The Cornerstone Women gather weekly through small groups, breakfasts and have a retreat once a year in the spring.
Our mission in Kid’s City at Cornerstone Church of Poway is to be the connecting link to help children and their families come to know Christ in a more meaningful way. We want to come alongside you and provide applicable messages that you and your child can discuss and dive deeper into each week following their Sunday service with us.
Each week your child will join us to grow in friendships, expand their knowledge of the bible through applicable bible stories and just have fun with crafts and games. We want your child to have an enjoyable and impactful hour with us on a level where they can feel that they belong. We offer classes from nursery to 5th grade. Our team members can’t wait to meet you and your child!
Our Tuesday night program is designed to help you as a parent get tied in to a small group to enable you grow as the leaders of your family. While you are diving into God’s word, our Kid’s City team offers your child a fun time through a short bible study to help stimulate your child’s mind about Christ, games and crafts associated to the Bible story to get more engaged and time to fellowship to grow friendships. This is a special time for the whole family!
Xtreme Youth is a community of young men and women striving to become more like Jesus Christ. Our vision is for young people to come in from all walks of life, be radically transformed by the saving power of Jesus Christ, then go and make an impact in their generation. The Junior High and High School have exciting weekly gatherings in addition to participating in Sunday Youth services in the 11:00 service.

Cornerstone believes that personal application of God’s Word is the key to maturity. We believe the best way to accomplish this is to belong to a small group of people where you feel safe enough to share in, to grow deeper in your faith with, and to serve alongside as friends. We want this for you, too!
The Prayer Quilt Ministry provides much needed comfort and healing through prayers tied into each handmade quilt for the person in need. A heavy thread is used to signify the strength and power of prayer. It’s about giving the person in need a tangible sign of God’s Love.
The First Impression team helps create a welcoming atmosphere where people feel loved and encouraged to take their next right step with God. You can help greet people, check in their kids and find a place to enjoy the morning worship and teaching.
The Café ministry provides coffee and food every Sunday to help create an environment where people can connect and encourage one another to take their next right step with God. You can help set up, decorate or clean up -everyone is important and part of the team. Everyone who serves loves to help people feel comfortable and accepted into the body of Christ.
The Meal Ministry Team helps provide meals for families who are in need. You can sign up to provide a meal or two and deliver them on a given day.
The Worship team is a family. Our ministry is more than just serving, but having a common goal to use our gifts and talents to give back to God and to bless others. Our goal is to uplift and encourage others through more than just music but with our whole lives! We have a great team of singers, musicians, sound, slide, and video engineers that create an atmosphere of worship and to help others feel closer to God. We have an annual retreat in the fall to connect and grow with one another, and to get refreshed in our passion and purpose in giving God all the glory, honor, and praises!
The facilities team ministers by helping with general maintenance and work projects to create a positive first impression for our guests. We serve on the first and second Saturday of each month.
The Administration teams help support our weekend programs and communication to encourage our church family in their walk with God. The Administration team serves throughout the week to ensure Sunday is fully supported through social media and programs.
GriefShare is designed to help those who are suffering from the loss of a loved one. If you are trying to naviagate through your grief journey, whether it is a recent loss or from years ago, this 13-week class will help you regain balance and focus in life. Through God’s Word and promises, you will find encouragement, restoration and hope again.
