GriefShare Ministry at Cornerstone Church is designed to help those who have lost a loved one and are experiencing pain and suffering. We offer a thirteen-week series to guide those who are hurting, and to help them navigate from a place of brokenness to finding encouragement, restoration and fulfillment through God’s Word.
THREE COMPONENTS OF GRIEFSHARE
Video
Each GriefShare session begins with a video dealing with specific topics designed to help participants walk through the unique aspects of the grief journey. The focus on God’s Word helps individuals experience grief from a Biblical perspective. Each session is carefully prepared to give practical guidelines and advice to help one cope with the varied emotions during grief.
Group Discussion
GriefShare is a safe place! Participants do not have to talk if they are not ready to share. Everyone will benefit from the group discussions led by our experienced facilitators. Those who are ready to share find comfort and relief, and those who just want to listen find encouragement, affirmation and reassurance.
Workbook
The workbook has daily devotionals and reflections to help participants navigate through their journey from mourning to joy. It also shares personal stories of individuals telling how God has restored their lives from a place of sorrow to hope and fulfillment.
