Dear Cornerstone Family,
This Sunday I will be wrapping up our Financial Freedom series. The reason I have been teaching on financial freedom is because the number one reason for divorce is money. Through this series I have been praying for you to have more financial freedom so that you will have less anxiety in your household. I believe this is possible when we are wise with our wealth and trust that God is our ultimate provider.
We live in a culture that continually entices us for more than we can afford. So, what do we do? We spend beyond our income and buy things on credit. Most of our families are struggling to pay bills because we are spending beyond our income. Many of us want a lifestyle that took our parents 40 years to acquire.
In Proverbs 13:11 (NCV) we read, “Money that comes easily disappears quickly, but money that is gathered little by little will grow.” Unfortunately, most people spend what they have. We need to learn the principle of gathering a little margin each month to provide for nicer things in the future.
Start saving now in a small area and use that money to pay down a debt. Proverbs 24:3 (TLB) Teaches us, “Any enterprise is built by WISE planning, becomes strong through common sense, and profits wonderfully by keeping abreast of the facts.”

Join us for our Deck The Halls church decorating event this Saturday, Dec. 1 starting at 8 am. Come and lend a hand for as long as you’d like. Together, let’s transform our church for Christmas to welcome the community. We’ve had so much fun in the years past, you won’t want to miss it! Lunch provided. My Gift To Jesus:
This Christmas we want to give a gift to Jesus to support our youth ministry for 2019. We are blessed to have Pastor Dan Bauch who oversees our mission to reach teenagers for Christ in our community. The Leadership has been prayerfully adjusting our budget from 8.9k a week to 7.8k a week. We have been able to do this while keeping our vision of reaching children, teens and families for Jesus. A budget is simply a spending plan. We want to ensure that we are able to do all that we can to help teens find and follow Jesus. Will you join us in a special Christmas offering that will support our outreach to teens in our community in 2019? Throughout December there will be an opportunity to give in each service.
Christmas Eve Worship Services 4:30 & 6:00 pm:
Invite your family and friends to celebrate Christmas with us at one of our two services on Christmas Eve at 4:30 & 6:00 pm. Childcare will be available in the Nursery for ages 0-3. Our team is working very hard to make this year’s Christmas Worship Services sensational.
