Dear Cornerstone Family,
Relationships are important and we all have areas where we can improve. This Sunday we will continue our relationship building series and look at how we can demonstrate love.
In 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 we are taught, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.”
Through God we learn to demonstrate love to others. October is Pastor Appreciate Month, so this Sunday we will be taking a moment during service to let Pastor Ed, Pastor Dan and Pastor Joey know how much we love and appreciate them. We are so blessed to have selfless leaders here at Cornerstone to learn from!
If you would like to write a word of thanks, there will be a card in the bulletin that you can fill out and return in the offering or place in the box in the café. There will be extra cards in the café and with the greeters at the door. Please join us for some refreshments in the café between services.

Partnership Class
If you would like to become a Cornerstone partner and make Cornerstone your church home, our Partnership class is being held next Sunday, Oct. 28, from 12:30-3:00 pm in the Lounge. Come and enjoy lunch with the pastor and learn more about Cornerstone’s theology, mission, and vision. RSVP so that we can plan for the food, materials, and childcare.
Believer’s Baptism
If you have accepted Jesus as your Savior and would like to be baptized on Nov. 4, please sign up on the connection card or call the church office by Oct. 28 so you can meet with Pastor Ed.
Fight Against Hunger Packaging Event
Cornerstone is partnering with the community to package food for Fight Against Hunger on Sunday, Nov. 11, from 1:00-3:30 pm. The event is being held at Poway Dream Dinner and needs 500 volunteers. Please join us and volunteer for this amazing event! If you have teens who need community service hours, this would be a great opportunity.
