Dear Cornerstone Family,
What is the best news you have ever heard? Passed an important test? New job? She said, “yes”? You’re going to have a baby? Cancer free? These are all wonderful, but the best news of all is to know that you are forgiven and are guaranteed a home in heaven with God.
We are given a message from God to share to a world that is hurting, broken and in need of hope. The message we are given to share is the Good News that Jesus paid for our sins with His life and offers us eternal life.
Do you know this Good News? In John 3:16-17 (NIV) Jesus said, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.” The Good News is that God would rather save us than judge us! The Good News is only good if it is heard before it is too late.
After Jesus died for our sins and rose from the grave he commissioned all believers with this message of hope. In Mark 16:15 (NLT) Jesus said, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.” Who will hear the Good News from you before it is too late? This Sunday I will be sharing this life changing message of hope and forgiveness. Who will you invite to church to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ?

Finding Ways to Save – FREE Dinner & Workshop
In place of our small group study on Thursday, Oct. 4, 6-7:30 pm, Thrivent Financial will be presenting a free educational workshop where we’ll explore ways to increase your income, reduce expenses, recognize spending leaks and harness the power of compound interest. We’ll also have activities for kids K-5th grade. Meet us in the café at 6 pm for food, the 1-hour workshop will begin at 6:30. Public welcome, bring a friend! Marriage Retreat
The Art Of Marriage Retreat, designed to help couples fully experience God’s design for marriage and strengthen families, will be held October 5&6, 2018 at the beautiful RB Radisson Hotel. Joey Orate’s Ordination & Celebration
Join us at the 11 am service on Sunday, Oct. 14, for Joey’s ordination and a celebration following in the Kid City area. Food will be provided by Cornerstone so come celebrate Joey’s next step in his calling as he continues to help people find and follow Jesus.
Men’s Breakfast
